Pocket Gamma Camera represents a major advancement in localization systems used in Nuclear Medicine and in radioguided surgery support technologies.
As the only device on the market featuring an all-in-one integrated system with detector and monitor, it is currently the world’s smallest compact gamma camera, capable of offering a detection field significantly wider than today’s so-called portable gamma cameras.
The evolution goes beyond its compact size and ease of use: its technology allows for the immediate intraoperative localization of sentinel lymph nodes (in less than 10 seconds), while also enabling diagnostic applications for the identification of very small lesions (as small as 2 mm).
Pocket Gamma Camera acquires images in real time on its own built-in monitor and can display a complete scintigraphic diagnostic image in just 30 seconds.
HIGH RISOLUTION
High spatial resolution and precise localization. Online imaging of the sentinel lymph node: capable of visualizing 2 mm lesions in direct contact, compared to the 5–10 mm resolution capability of other similar instruments used in radioguided surgery.
