Directional Gamma Probe
The first with three integrated detectors
The Directional Gamma Probe (DGP) is a device designed to meet important needs in radioguided surgery: greater speed, spatial resolution in the search and localization of lesions and sentinel lymph nodes.
The Directional Gamma Probe is the first device specifically designed to guide the surgeon towards the most radioactive lesion or lymph node. The patented device uses 3 detectors that simultaneously scan non-overlapping tissue areas, offering a much broader investigation area compared to traditional gamma probes (an angular field of view of approximately 240° compared to the 60°-90° of conventional gamma probes). This innovative solution, thanks to the use of 3 independent detectors, enables faster and more detailed exploration of the analyzed area, providing the surgeon with precise guidance on where to direct the probe in order to quickly reach the most radioactive zone.
3 SENSORS
Thanks to the 3 sensors, the system is able to guide the surgeon on where to direct the probe.

RAPIDITY
The speed of the device allows the location of the highest uptake point to be identified in just a few seconds.

WIDE SCANNING AREA
The wide scanning area allows the operator to be directed quickly towards the lesion or sentinel lymph node.

EASE OF USE
Even with the presence of 3 directional detectors, the size and ease of use are identical to those of a standard gamma probe.

SPATIAL RESOLUTION
The spatial resolution of the 3-sensor Directional Gamma Probe is significantly superior to other gamma probes available on the market.
